Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the treatment of SOx after desulfurization by using a manganese ore as an ammonia catalytic reduction and denitification catalyst for the desulfurized waste gas.

CONSTITUTION: A waste gas A from a sintering machine 1 is firstly introduced into an iron-ore moving bed 2 and brought into contact with the iron ore B to collect dust particles. The particle is fixed by the chemical reaction of the iron oxide in the ore and SOx and removed. The dust is collected, the iron ore B' having adsorbed SOx is drawn off, cold-pelleted in a factory 5 and charged into a blast furnace 6 as an iron source. The waste gas A' freed from dust and SOx is mixed with ammonia E, then introduced into a manganese-ore moving bed 3, brought into contact with the manganese ore, reduced and denitrified by the catalysis of the manganese dioxide and manganese carbonate in the ore, and the NOx are removed. The waste gas A" is introduced into a chromium-ore moving bed 4 and brought into contact with the carbonaceous material D to adsorb and remove the org. chlorine compd.
