Abstract:

To provide a system for drying pulverized matter, particularly coke, and a system for injecting into a furnace, in which an installation for drying and a transport means such as a tank-lorry are not particularly needed, wide receiving area is unnecessary, and costs are reduced.

The drying system comprises at least one storage hopper 1 for storing pulverized matter. The hopper 1 receives easily transportable pulverized matter 2 having a specified grain size and at least 10% of high moisture content, and passes them through piping 5 into a furnace 6. In the system, pulverized matters are dried to have a specified moisture content allowing pneumatic transportation.
