Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from splashing without degrading the life of a conveyor belt.
SOLUTION: Dust prevention members 30 made out of sponge, are provided at the outer sides of side skirt boards 21 at a part for making connection 20, the lower end surface of each dust prevention member is brought into surface contact with the surface of a belt by specified elastic force, and let each dust prevention member be followed by the deflection of a conveyor belt by the elastic force. A belt cleaner 40 having a cleaner main body 43 made out of sponge, is provided for its belt return side, and the cleaner main body 43 is brought into surface contact with the surface of the belt so as to allow deposits made over the surface to be raked. And furthermore, a pad 50 made out of sponge is provided for the entrance side of the part for making connection 20.
