To provide a dust-proof mechanism for an electronic apparatus wherein, even if a finger or an object unintentionally touches a member constituting the dust-proof mechanism for the electronic apparatus, the member is hard to be removed or damaged.

The electronic apparatus 1 is provided with an internal switch 5 within an enclosure 2 forming the external appearance of the electronic apparatus 1 and an opening 2c to operate the internal switch 5 in the enclosure 2. It is also provided with a shutter plate 6 to open/close the opening 2c and a retaining plate 7 to pinch the shutter plate 6 between the enclosure 2 and itself by sliding freely, and the enclosure 2 is provided with a slide recess 2d forming the slide area of the shutter plate 6. The shutter plate 6 is slid between the enclosure 2 and the retaining plate 7 by operating an operation part 6a, thus permitting free opening/closing of the opening 2c.
