Abstract:
To develop vibration damping effects in response to both vibration caused by the inclination of a gear and axial vibration of the gear.SOLUTION: A dynamic damper includes a mass body arranged on the axial center of a hollow rotary shaft, and an elastic body, whereby vibration caused by the gear mounted to the rotary shaft is suppressed, the mass body being capable of vibrating in a linear-motion state where it reciprocates along the axial center of the rotary shaft, the elastic body having a first contact face in parallel to the axial direction of the rotary shaft, and a second contact face not in parallel to the axial direction of the rotary shaft, as contact faces with the mass body. When the gear vibrates so as to incline from the radial direction of the rotary shaft to the axial direction side of the rotary shaft, the mass body vibrates so as to push the first contact face in response to the vibration to give compression stress to the elastic body, and when the gear vibrates along the axial direction of the rotary shaft, the mass body is set into a linear-motion state in response to the vibration and vibrates so as to push the second contact face therein to give compression stress to the elastic body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
