Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively rewrite data which varies on every photographic operation in an EEPROM by detecting the start of the traveling of a trailing curtain and writing information on a camera in the EEPROM.
CONSTITUTION: When the start of the traveling of the trailing curtain is detected through a switch S2 which is turned on by the 2nd depression of a shutter release button, an L signal is applied through the switch S2 and a microcomputer μC writes the total number of times of shutter release efficiently in the total shutter release frequency area of the EEPROM by utilizing the control free time of the microcomputer μC during the run of the trailing curtain. The number of film frames is also written similarly.
