Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a disc by heat by forming a plurality of stripes of grooves opened at the outer periphery of an eddy current generating rotary disc. CONSTITUTION:An eddy current control groove 16 group opened radially from the inner part toward the outer periphery are formed at an eddy current generating rotary disc 14 made of conductive material such as thin aluminum. This control groove 16 group can prevent the deformation of a disc 14, and desired torque characteristic can be obtained by altering the number of the grooves.
