Abstract:
To provide an eddy current type reduction gear unit having a sufficient strength in a magnet ring holder made of a laminate of iron plates.
The eddy current type reduction gear unit 10 includes a rotor 12 mounted on a rotary shaft 11, and a magnet ring 16 having a plurality of permanent magnets 22 disposed oppositely to the rotor 12 and disposed at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction. The magnet ring 16 has an annular laminate 21 obtained by laminating the iron plates in an axial direction and the respective permanent magnets 22. A plurality of through holes 24 axially passing through the laminate 21 at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction, and a pin 25 is press injected in each through hole 24.
