To provide an edible ink including, as a material, silver nanoparticles composed of components that can be orally ingested or orally contacted, and an object to be printed using the same.SOLUTION: An edible ink includes, as a material, silver nanoparticles composed of a polyvinyl pyrrolidone and silver, being components that can be orally ingested or orally contacted. The polyvinyl pyrrolidone plays a role of protecting a surface of a silver nanoparticle and also acts as a dispersant. Thus, the ink using materials acknowledged as food additives or by the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law can be used in food products, medical use tablets, etc.SELECTED DRAWING: None
