PURPOSE: To produce the subject string or net capable of transferring food additives into foods, during the binding of the processed foods with the string or net, to give effects such as a taste a color, a pharmacological effect and a decorative effect on the food by packaging the food additives such as a seasoning and a spice with an edible twisting string or net comprising collagen as a raw material.

CONSTITUTION: A string or net produced by adhering food additives such as a spice, a seasoning and a colorant to the surface of a tape-like formed product comprising an edible natural polymer such as collagen and subsequently twisting the tape-like formed product in a state in which the additive-adhered surface is placed on the inner side. A method for producing the twisted string comprises spraying or coating an adhesive on the surface of the tape-like formed product comprising the same edible natural polymer, scattering food additives such as a spice, a seasoning and a colorant on the sprayed or coated surface, and winding up the tape-like formed product in the state that the additive-scattered surface is placed on the inner side.
