Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain edit by selecting mode of still picture edit from an optional position during the moving picture edit with a simple operation by providing a means switching a 1st path into a 2nd path of a switch means in a prescribed timing. CONSTITUTION:When a switch circuit 7 is turned to the position (a), a video signal V1 from a reproduction circuit 6 is directly supplied to a recording circuit 11. When a still picture key 18 is depressed, a write enable signal WE goes to a low level synchronously with a synchronizing signal VD and a reproduced picture of a reproduction circuit 6 is stored in a field memory 8. A read enable signal RE goes to a low level at the point of time when the succeeding field is started, the picture stored in the field memory 8 is outputted, the switch circuit 7 is turned to the position (b) and the output V2 of the field memory 8 is supplied to the recording circuit 11. Thus, when the still picture key 18 is depressed, the picture from the field memory 8 is supplied to the recording circuit 11 and the mode is switched from the moving picture edit to the mode of still picture edit.
