Abstract:

To improve slip resistance and strength, and prevent peeling-out of pavement materials in elastic pavement materials for preventing noise at in a traveling vehicle.

An elastic pavement for the roadway is so constituted that an elastic pavement materials 2 having a predetermined thickness is laid on a binder course 1 composed of asphalt and concrete, etc., of a road. The elastic pavement material 2 is formed of a mixture wherein a grained elastic aggregate 3 having low hardness and a grained organic aggregate 4 having high hardness 1 which are 10 or more in the difference of hardness are mixed to solidify with a resin binder 5 which consists of a urethane resin, etc. The aggregate 3 is the trituration of a rubber blended material or waste tire chips. The hardness (JISA) of the aggregate 3 is 50 to 80. The aggregate 4 is a trituration of an organic system blended material or urethane bumper chips. The hardness of the aggregate 4 is 80 or more.
