Abstract:
To provide an electric brake device capable of properly releasing brake force according to thrust when brake force is held.SOLUTION: A parking brake controller 24 drives an electric motor 7A and, when a current value of the electric motor 7A becomes a current threshold in release time, and a rotary amount of the electric motor 7A becomes a rotary shaft threshold in release time, determines that, release is completed. At the time, the parking brake controller 24 changes the rotary amount threshold of the electric motor 7A in release time (releasing the brake force) according to piston thrust in apply (when the brake force is held) performed before release.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
