PURPOSE: To utilize the carpet in parallel with a heating equipment safely with a simple constitution by a method wherein the device is provided with a first heater, arranged at a part utilized in parallel with the heating equipment, the second heater, arranged in other parts, and a conduction stopping means for the heaters.

CONSTITUTION: When an electric foot-warmer frame is utilized in parallel, a plug, at one end of an electric source lead wire 11, is connected to the socket of an electric source 10, the plug, at the other end of the electric source lead wire 11, is connected to the socket, connected to the temperature control circuit 6 of a control box 9 for the main body of the electric carpet 1 and the socket 7, and the plug of the electric source lead wire for the electric foot-warmer frame is connected to the socket 7 for the control box 9, then, a switch 8 is opened, the conduction of the first heater 3 is stopped and the part 2, utilized in parallel, is heated by only the electric foot-warmer frame.
