The electric-field light emission display element has a construction that a laminating object 11 is formed on a substrate 10, and a sealing substance 12 which has a dent part 12b that covers the laminating object 11 is bonded on the substrate 10. The laminating object 11 has a transparent electrode 13, an insulated layer 14, an organic layer 15, and the back surface electrode 16. The transparent electrode 13 has a lead part 17, a display segment part 18 connected with the end of the lead part 17, and a terminal part 19 connected with the other ends of the lead part 17. The organic layer 15 is formed more broadly in the area than those of the lead part 17 and the display segment part 18 of the transparent electrode 13.
