To improve water tree resistance.SOLUTION: An electric insulation composition contains: a base resin containing 100 pts.mass of the total of 40 pts.mass or more and 90 pts.mass or less of first polyethylene having a density of 0.91 g/cm3 or more and 0.93 g/cm3 or less, and 10 pts.mass or more and 60 pts.mass or less of second polyethylene having a density of 0.855 g/cm3 or more and 0.890 g/cm3 or less; and 0.05 pts.mass or more and 1.0 pts.mass or less of fatty acid amide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
