This electric power steering device is furnished with a brushless motor 3 and the three-phase inverter 4 having a plurality of semiconductor elements to control a three-phase electric current to drive the brushless motor 3, and it is possible to restrain the heating value by reducing heating of the three-phase inverter 4 at the maximum steering angle by controlling each of the three-phase electric currents flowing on the three-phase inverter 4 at the maximum steering angle in steering to become less than the maximum electric current value.
