Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that offers good steering feel by transmitting within a short period of time a change in vehicle behavior as a reaction force from road surfaces based on a yaw velocity signal Y whose accuracy is enhanced by reducing disturbance noise.
SOLUTION: This device 1 is provided with a yaw velocity signal determining means 17 that generates a yaw velocity signal Y which is relatively free from effects from disturbance noise based on yaw velocity signals YA, YB from two yaw rate sensors 9, 16. It is further provided with a control means 13 that supplies the yaw velocity signal Y to a vehicle behavior evaluation means 24 and outputs an amount of correction ID from the vehicle behavior evaluation means 24 according to the vehicle behavior, thereby correcting a target torque signal IMO.
