Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shutter that can detect an obstacle at the time of electrically-driven lowering movement and stop a shutter curtain under lowering movement with usage of an emergency switch and a mechanical hazard prevention device.SOLUTION: An electric shutter includes: an opening/closing device that causes a shutter curtain to raise/lower in an electric manner for opening/closing an opening portion; an emergency switch for stopping electric driving of the opening/closing device upon receipt of an input; and a mechanical hazard prevention device that is configured to move an operation body when a seat plate of the shutter curtain under lowering movement by its own weight hits an obstacle to return mechanically a brake of the opening/closing device for stopping the shutter curtain. The operation body and the emergency switch are connected so that the emergency switch is inputted in synchronization with the movement of the operation body. The electric lowering movement of the shutter curtain is stopped when the emergency switch is inputted in synchronization with the movement of the operation body when the seat plate of the shutter curtain under electric lowering movement hits the obstacle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 38
