Abstract:
The utility model provides an electric tool and a locking mechanism. A power tool includes: a motor; a speed reduction mechanism connected to the motor; a housing that houses the motor and the speed reduction mechanism; a tip tool holding part connected to the speed reduction mechanism; a cover covering at least a portion of the tip tool holding portion; and a lock mechanism that switches the cover between a fixed state and an unfixed state with respect to the housing in accordance with an operation from a user. The cover can be mounted to the housing without a user operating the lock mechanism. According to the utility model, a technology capable of improving the operability when the cover is installed on the shell can be provided.
