Abstract:
To provide an electric vehicle and a control method of the electric vehicle, which can secure safety.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a motor for each wheel; motor drivers; and a drive control section which generalizes and controls the plurality of motor drivers on the basis of a sensor signal. The electric vehicle further includes: a first command generation section provided in the drive control section; and a second command generation section provided in each of the motor drivers. When a command function of the first command generation section normally functions, the first command generation section validates a command function, generates a command from the sensor signal, and transmits the command to each of the motor drivers, and the second command generation section invalidates the command function. When the command function of the first command generation section does not normally function, the first command generation section invalidates the command function, and one second command generation section of the plurality of second command generation sections validates the command function, generates a command from the sensor signal, and transmits the command to each of other motor drivers where the command function is invalidated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
