Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire brush for indirect hot line work which efficiently polishes a core wire of an electric wire.SOLUTION: An electric wire brush 10 includes a frame 1, a movable jaw 2, and a feed screw 3. The frame 1 has a fixed jaw 11 at one end part and a base part 12 at the other end part. In the fixed jaw 11, a brush Br is implanted on a bottom surface of an arc groove 11d. The base part 12 forms a female screw part 12f. The movable jaw 2 is disposed so as to move forward and rearward to the fixed jaw 11. In the movable jaw 2, the brush Br is implanted on a bottom surface of a curved groove 21d. The feed screw 3 is connected with a bottom part of the movable jaw 2. Further, the feed screw 3 has a shaft part 31 which threadedly engages with the female screw part 12f. The shaft part 31 has a connection metal fitting 32 at a base end part. When a common operation rod 9 is rotated around an axis in one direction in a state where the common operation rod 9 is connected with the connection metal fitting 32, the movable jaw 2 can move toward the fixed jaw 11 so as to hold an electric wire W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
