Abstract:

To provide an electrode active material having high capacity density and capable of providing high current, and to provide a battery having high energy density and capable of providing a high output.

The electrode active material containing a polymer (a) having a unit represented by formula (1) in a molecule is used. In the formula (1), X represents structure forming the main chain of the polymer (polyacetylene type structure or polyolefin type structure); and R1-R3independently present a 1-3C alkyl group.
