Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a piezoelectric ceramic in which the connection of input and output voltages to a lead is effectively conducted without damaging an electrode film, and the discontinuity of the lead due to vibration hardly occurs and which has high reliability.

CONSTITUTION: Input electrodes 11 are provided on the main surfaces of both the front and rear surfaces of the driver 1A of a piezoelectric ceramic element 1, and polarized in a thickness direction. A columnar shape thick electrode 11a is provided at the position of a node region N of the input electrodes of the front and rear surfaces in the case of a λ mode vibration. Leads L1, L2 are conductively connected to the parts by conductively connecting materials. An output electrode 13 is formed at the end face of a generator 1B, and a thick electrode 13a is formed at the part of the output electrode. The generator 1B is polarized in the longitudinal direction. A lead L3 is similarly conductively connected to the part 13a by the connecting material.
