PURPOSE: To enhance electromagnetic shielding performance at a periphery of a window of a building by fixing an electromagnetic shielding material provided with a film of conductive paint, etc., on a surface of a transparent material such as a plate glass, etc., to a window frame by using a conductive gasket material made of an electric conductor.
CONSTITUTION: A conductive gasket 2 is disposed between a conductive surface of an electromagnetic shielding material 1 and a window frame 4, the material is fixed, and electrically connected. Thus, the material 1, the gasket 2 and the frame 3 are electrically integrated, thereby improving electromagnetic shielding performance. The frame 4 has at least conductivity on its surface, thereby obtaining further higher electromagnetic shielding performance. The gasket is formed of a foamable extrusion material containing at least one of silicone, neoprene, and ethylene-propylene-styrene copolymer as a main material. When the frame 4 is movable to a stationaly window outer frame 6, a conductive sealing material 5 is disposed between the frame 2 and the frame 6.
