Abstract:
To provide an electromagnetic wave absorber capable of expanding a range of applicable objects and increasing the degree of freedom in arrangement while decreasing the size of a unit structure thereof.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave absorber 201 includes a substrate 202, a first wiring pattern 203 which is applied to one surface of the substrate, and a second wiring pattern 204 which is applied to the other surface of the substrate opposite the one surface. The first wiring pattern 203 has a line portion 211 which extends in a direction parallel to a direction of generation of an external electric field, a capacitance portion 212 in which an electric potential difference occurs due to the external electric field, a first connection portion 213 and a second connection portion 214 each of which connects terminals of the line portion to the capacitance portion. The second wiring pattern 204 has a wiring portion 221 which extends in the same direction as the line portion and is arranged so as to face each other, and extension portions 222 and 223 which bend and branch from an edge of the wiring portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
