PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and stabilize the operating characteristic of the pump by a method wherein the bearing metal of a plunger is held by a magnetic permeable plate in a magnetic circuit formed by the exciting of a solenoid coil and the magnetic permeable plate is arranged at the side of one end of the plunger serving as a flange in combination.
CONSTITUTION: When the solenoid coil 3 is excited, the magnetic circuit, passing through the permeable plate 4, is formed and the plunger 5 is attracted to a plunger receiver 2. The magnetic permeable plate 4 holds the bearing metal 10 of the plunger 5, is arranged at the side of one end of the plunger 5 serving as a flange in combination, therefore, the number of components may be reduced. The inner and outer peripheries of the permeable plate 4 are formed simultaneously by forging and the outer periphery is fitted to a yoke 1, therefore, deformation due to the age variation of the permeable plate 4 becomes very small. According to this method, the abrasion of the bearing metal 10, engaged with and held by the inner periphery of the magnetic permeable plate 4, or the non- operation of a shaft 6 may be prevented and the stabilized operation characteristic may be obtained.
