Abstract:
An electromechanical actuator (12) in a vehicle suspension system includes a housing having a first section (18) adapted to affix to a vehicle body (20) and a second section (14) adapted to affix to a vehicle wheel assembly (22) suspended to the vehicle body (20), the first and second sections (18,14) coupled to form a motor, electronics (24) including a power-switching devices disposed within a chamber of the housing (18) and adapted to receive electrical power and to direct power to the motor, and a filter board (26) including capacitors and inductors disposed within the chamber (18) to suppress noise generated by the power-switching devices to an external DC power source.
