Abstract:

To approximately equalize an electron beam emitted from a window in the vicinity of both ends of a an emission component with one emitted from a window in the vicinity of the center of the emission component and normally output both beams.

The electron beam tube is equipped with a vacuum container 1, electron generation components 41 and 42, an electric field generation component 3 and the emission component 2 which is formed on an end face of the vacuum container 1 and has windows 21 and 22 transmitting the electron beam. The electron beam tube is characterized in that it has a first electron beam control component 31 which is equipped with the electron generation components 41 and 42 and is so constituted that one end of the electric field generation component 3 is connected to the emission component 2 in the vacuum container 1 and the other end of the component 3 extends to above the outer periphery of the electron generation components 41 and 42 and a second plate electron beam control component 33 which is so constituted that one end of it is connected to the space between the windows 21 and 22 corresponding to the electron generation components 41 and 42 respectively of the emission component 2 in the first electron beam control component 31 and the other end of the component 33 extends to the upper part between the electron generation components 41 and 42 severally.
