Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a failure occurrence rate in a connecting point, and inexpensively enable manufacture by connecting upper wiring and one electrode of an electron emitting element to each other by a recessed part in the direction in parallel to a base board surface of an insulating layer on the electron emitting element.
CONSTITUTION: A dielectric thin film composed of a metallic material is formed on an excellently cleaned base board 1, and fine processing is performing on this pattern by a photolithographic method, and element electrodes 2 and 3 are formed, and a pattern of a lower wiring electrode 5 is formed of conductive paste by a printing method so as to contact with a part of the element electrode 3, and it is baked. A belt-like pattern having a recessed part 7 in a position of the element electrode 2 is printed and baked on it by insulating paste, and an insulator 6 is formed. Upper wiring 8 electrically continuing with the element electrode 2 by the recessed part 7 is printed, baked and formed on this by conductive paste. After a thin film composed of a particulate electron emitting material is formed over the whole surface on this, patterning is formed by a photolithographic method, and a thin film 4 is formed, and a crack of an electron emitting part 9 is formed by foaming.
