Selected decided areas A"1" and A"2" are set in a display screen 11 and corrected areas B"1" and B"2" are set around the selected decided areas A"1" and A"2". An icon is displayed in each of the selected decided areas. A pointer position is inputted by a touch panel operation, etc, for touching a desired position on the display screen 11. When the inputted pointer position belongs to the selected decided area A"1", processing assigned to the selected decided area A"1" (processing assigned to the icon displayed in the selected decided area A"1") is executed (the same goes for A"2"). When the inputted pointer position is a position 320 in the corrected area B"1", the internal pointer position of an electronic apparatus is corrected (moved)stepwise from the inputted pointer position toward the selected decided area A"1" and when the internal pointer position reaches the selected decided area A"1", the above processing is executed.
