To provide an electronic-appliance storing box for outdoor installations wherein its temperature rise caused by a direct sunlight is so suppressed as to be able to cool properly the inside of its housing, and its external appearance is favorable too.
The electronic-appliance storing box 1 for outdoor installations has a housing portion 10 for storing therein electronic appliances 14, 15, 16 and has a ceiling portion 20 provided on the housing portion 10 whose space 24 becomes an air-flow passage. In the front lower portion of the housing portion 10, an inlet port 11 for taking the outside air in the housing portion 10 is provided, and on the front side of the ceiling portion 20, an exhaust port 22 is provided. Also, a cross-flow fan 30 for blowing the air sucked into the housing portion 10 from the inlet port 11 to the exhaust port 22 of the ceiling portion 20 is provided on the rear-surface side of the ceiling portion 20 which is present in the route ranging from the inlet port 11 provided in the housing portion 10 to the ceiling portion 20.
