Abstract:
PURPOSE:To generate a chart for a print density test by storing a density pattern data with a predetermined gradation into a storage means and recording a designated density pattern data onto recording paper by an input means. CONSTITUTION:A picture written on a display medium or a picture on an original or the like fitted to a display medium is read by a CCD sensor 7 and recorded on thermosensing paper 13. In desiring to output test chart paper, a key for density pattern data recording designation provided to an operation section 18 is depressed. A CPU 19 reads a density pattern test charge paper generating program, that is, a density pattern data T of predetermined gradation from a ROM 20 and sends the data T to a recording control circuit 11 together with a recording command signal. The circuit 12 drives a thermal head 12 and the data T is recorded sequentially on the thermosensing paper 13 by the head 12. The thermosensing paper 13 is fed by a feed roller 15 during recording and when the recording is finished, the paper is cut off by a cutter 16. Thus, the test chart paper is generated in this way.
