Title:
ELECTRONIC COUNTED-VALUE STORAGE APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2979965
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an electronic counted-value storage apparatus in which the number of pulses which are less than the number of unit pulses can be held by a storage means by a method wherein a processing means which finds a counted number at a latest update timing is installed and the storage means composed of a nonvolatile memory which stores data regarding the high-order digit side and data regarding the low-order digit side while the data are being updated is installed.
CONSTITUTION: A processing means 2 finds an address which has been updated at a previous update timing, and it updates a next address so that the number of pulses corresponding to a counted value or lower including the counted value on the low-order digit side can be written, as data, in an area (b) in a nonvolatile storage means 3 divided into two or more regions at a latest update timing at which a pulse signal has read out the number of unit pulses. When a carry to the high-order digit side is generated on the low-order digit side of the counted value at the latest update timing, an updated address is found so that the high-order digit side can be written, as data, in an area (a) in the means 3, the next address is updated and the counted value (running distance) at the latest update timing is found.
