Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic head capable of decreasing leak magnetic flux and improving reproduction efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: This magnetic head 1 is constituted by laminating a pair of magneto-resistance effect elements 2 interposing an intermediate layer 3 in a traveling direction of a magnetic recording medium 4 and is so constituted as to be provided with a return core 5 by connecting the ends of the magneto- resistance effect elements 2 on the side opposite to the magnetic recording medium 4 to each other. As a result, a magnetic circuit of a strong closed loop is formed at the time of reproduction from the recording media for perpendicular recording to decrease the leak magnetic fluxes.
