To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus system for PDT (Photodynamic Therapy) capable of providing image signals generating no halation without using a laser cut filter even if laser lights are continuously irradiated.

An image signal level detection circuit 34 and a timing circuit 30 calculate an electronic shutter speed at which the picture signal generates no halation by comparing with a prescribed reference value based on the strength of picture signals output from a CCD 17. A CCD driving circuit 11 inputs an electronic shutter pulse for resetting a photodiode at a timing when a time for inputting a read timing signal in the CCD 17 is accorded with the electronic shutter speed, for transmitting charges accumulated in each photodiode constituting a light receiving section in the CCD 17.
