To provide an electronic endoscope device which has an electronic endoscope whose top part can be made smaller in diameter, and which can easily prevent damages caused by an overcurrent, etc., or can easily adjust the light emitting volume, etc.
A solid imaging element 12 with an integrated light emitting part is installed inside at the top 9 of this electronic endoscope 2. The solid imaging element 12 has an imaging part 13 and a light emitting part 14, which can be supplied with electric currents from separate regulators 21 and 23 respectively by way of signal lines 18a and 18b. Thereby, damages of the imaging part 13 can be prevented more effectively by directly shutting electric currents to be supplied to the imaging part 13 than by using a common power source.
