Abstract:

To provide a small, thin electronic key which allows easy locking and unlocking.

A locking mechanism part 1 comprises a lock lever 112, a support pin, a spring, and a slide button 111. A locking part 2 comprises an actuator 201 and a stopper 202. A power supply part 3 comprises a battery 131 and a battery holder 132. Of the three components. i.e., the locking mechanism part 1, the locking part 2, and the power supply part 3, at least two are placed at positions where they do not overlap on their cross sections. A key switch 4 used to input a code number, etc., is designed to overlap with at least either one of the locking mechanism part 1, the locking part 2, and the power supply part 3 on their cross sections. Therefore, locking and unlocking can be done easily, and even if both the locked and unlocked states are maintained for a long time, the battery can be made to have a long life, and the small, thin electronic key can be obtained.
