To provide an electronic keyboard instrument which makes a wiring cable led out of a control panel invisible from the outside even in opening a keyboard lid having the control panel within the lid, is simple in the structure of a rotational moving shaft and is easy in routing of the wiring cable.

The electronic keyboard instrument includes a musical instrument body 10 arranged with a keyboard on the top surface, a lid 42 rotatably supported at one end in a lid support 32 by the rotational moving shaft 36, and the control panel 48 mounted on the inner surface of the lid, and consists of the keyboard lid 40 which is rotatable between the open position and the covering position, the wiring cable 50 which is led from one end of the control panel and extends to a controller within the musical instrument body, a guide member 55 which is displaced integrally with the keyboard lid, covers the exposed part of the wiring cable while the keyboard lid exists in the open position, and guides the wiring cable to the prescribed direction when the keyboard lid rotationally moves to the covering position, and a cover member 70 which covers the portion not covered by the guide member of the exposed part when the keyboard lid exists in the open position.
