Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any deterioration of a silencing effect caused by degradation of an S/N ratio even in a high flow rate of exhaust gas.
SOLUTION: In this electronic silencer system, a reference microphone 3, a secondary sound source and an error microphone 5 are disposed in an exhaust duct 1 connected at one end thereof to a noise source in this order in an exhaust gas flowing direction Y from the noise source. Sound waves received by the reference microphone 3 and the error microphone 5 are processed, so that silencing sound waves are generated from the secondary sound source. A rate delaying device 13 for delaying a flow rate of exhaust gas is disposed upstream of at least one of the reference microphone 3 and the error microphone 5.
