Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for producing a honeycomb which improves rib strength and can prevent the generation of wrinkles in a peripheral part which is a serious defect in a thin wall honeycomb.
SOLUTION: In a nozzle for producing a honeycomb comprising a nozzle main body 2 for extruding a honeycomb structure which has a porcelain earth supply hole 11 opening in the back of a nozzle 1, a slit groove 12 which communicates with the hole 11 and opens in the surface of the nozzle 1, and a taper processing part 13 which forms the nozzle peripheral part of a nozzle surface in a taper shape and a press plate 3 fitted to a position facing the surface of the part 13, a slit groove expansion part 21 which was expanded as an opening end 12a is formed in the opening part of the slit groove 12 existing in the part 13 of the nozzle peripheral part.
