To suppress a decrease in generation efficiency in an electronic timepiece having a solar battery.SOLUTION: An electronic timepiece comprises: a solar battery 80_a and a solar battery 80_b; and a display part overlapping with the solar battery 80_a and the solar battery 80_b in a plan view. The solar battery 80_a has a cell 81_1a and a cell 81_1b electrically connected in series to each other. The solar battery 80_b has a cell 81_3b and a cell 81_4b electrically connected in series to each other.
