Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent discoloration and fade of a resin component and a coloring component by incorporating a specified discoloration inhibitor.
CONSTITUTION: A toner contains one or more compounds (discoloration inhibitors) selected from a group of benzotriazole, benzophenone, piperidine and its N-methyl derivatives. The use of the toner containing a dispersion of such a discoloration inhibitor permits discoloration of the resin component and fading of the coloring component to be prevented, and discoloration and fading of a formed color image to be controlled.
