Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic image forming system that prevents an aggregate derived from an external additive from being fastened in a streak shape while ensuring the charge transport property of a photoreceptor, and achieve both excellent wear resistance of the photoreceptor and good image quality.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic image forming system has a step of forming an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor, and a step of bringing a tip ridge part of a cleaning blade into pressure contact with a surface of the photoreceptor to remove a toner for electrostatic charge image development. The photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer, and a surface protective layer provided on a surface of the photosensitive layer. The surface protective layer contains a polymer of a polymerizable monomer having at least two or more polymerizable groups in a molecule, and a hole transport compound having a polymerizable group having a specific structure. The electrophotographic image forming system brings the tip ridge part of the cleaning blade in an obtuse angle shape with an edge angle of 120° or less into pressure contact within a range of an effective contact angle of 8-20°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
