To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that has at least a photosensitive layer and a protective layer containing a cured product of polyfunctional acrylate or polyfunctional methacrylate on a conductive support, and prevent the occurrence of image deletion in an initial period from the start of printing.SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor that has at least a photosensitive layer and a protective layer on a conductive support, the protective layer contains at least a cured product of polyfunctional acrylate or polyfunctional methacrylate, and an inorganic insulating-treated metal oxide particle in which a surface of metal oxide particle having a bandgap of 2-4 eV is surface-treated with an inorganic insulating compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
