Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THAT ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3197128
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain high sensitivity and to improve the potential stability for repeated use and image defects under high temp. and high humidity conditions by using a mixture material of oxytitanium phthalocyanine and specified bisazo pigment to form a charge producing layer.
CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor has at least two layers of a charge producing layer and a charge transfer layer on a conductive supporting body. The charge producing layer consists of a mixture material of oxytitanium phthalocyanine and bisazo pigment expressed by formula I. In formula I, R1 is a hydrogen atom, halogen atom or cyano group, and Cp1, Cp2 are same or different coupler residues expressed by formula II or formula III. In formula II, Ar1 is a substd. or unsubstd. aryl group, X1 is a residue necessary to form a polycyclic aromatic ring or heteroring by condensation with a benzene ring, and Z1 is an oxygen atom or sulfur atom.
