Abstract:

To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that can reduce image unevenness and an image forming apparatus including the same, and a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor and a coating liquid for an undercoat layer used for the same.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor has a layered constitution in which at least an undercoat layer and a photosensitive layer are laminated in this order on a conductive substrate, and the undercoat layer contains (1) at least a binder resin and metal oxide particles coated by silica, (2) at least a binder resin, metal oxide particles not coated by silica, and silica particles, or (3) at least a binder resin, metal oxide particles coated by silica, and silica particles, and further contains a Na element, a K element, a Ca element, and a Mg element in a total content of 1-20 ppm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
