Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that can maintain low wear properties and prevent filming.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a laminated photosensitive layer having a conductive support, a charge generating layer, and a charge transport layer in this order. Resin used in the charge transport layer is polyester or polycarbonate. When a Martens hardness when an indentation test is conducted on the charge transport layer to a depth of 0.5 μm is defined as HM (N/mm2), and an indentation hardness as nIT (N/mm2), the following relational expression (0) is satisfied, and an elastic deformation rate is 45% or more and 70% or less. (0) nIT=a×HM-b(a=2±0.2, b=100±20). The tensile modulus of the charge transport layer is 2,300 MPa or more and 5,000 MPa or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
