Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which has excellent electrostatic offset resistance and offset resistance at high temp. and gives high image density without causing sticking of the toner to a photoreceptor.
SOLUTION: The chromatogram of the electrostatic charge image developing toner containing at least a binder resin measured by GPC(gel permeation chromatography) shows the following properties. In three regions of (A) a region of <10000 mol.wt., (B) a region over 70000 mol.wt., and (C) a region between 10000 and 70000 mol.wt., the component (A) has 0 to 15 acid value (Av1), the component (B) has 5 to 25 acid value (Avb), where they satisfies Avb>Ava, and the component (C) contains 5 to 40 wt.% binder resin component synthesized from conjugated diene monomer. The toner contains 5 to 40 wt.% THF (tetrahydrofuran) insoluble component.
