Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure abrasion loss of a lining easily without detaching a brake body.SOLUTION: Elevator brake equipment 100 comprises linings 8a, 8b for braking rotation of lifting equipment for lifting up and down an elevator car and a balance weight in a well-bucket type. The linings 8a, 8b have a measurement groove 10a having an inclination surface 10a2 whose depth dimension is proportional to the residual thickness of the linings 8a, 8b according to abrasion losses of the linings 8a, 8b, and the abrasion losses of the linings 8a, 8b are measured by measuring the groove depth of the measurement groove 10a.
